Workspaces and invitations
Set up an organization and workspaces, invite your team, choose roles, and work together on the same app.
Kuika AI is built for teams. An organization holds your company, workspaces hold the teams inside it, and you invite people by email and give each one a role. When several people work on one app, Kuika AI keeps them from overwriting each other.
Organizations and workspaces
- An organization is your company or group. It owns the people, the credits and the company-wide settings.
- A workspace is where one team keeps its projects and apps. Create one with New workspace, then invite the people who will build with you.
You can belong to several organizations and workspaces and switch between them from the switcher at the top.
Invite people
- Open the Members section of your organization (or the workspace) and select Invite.
- Type one or more email addresses, separated by commas.
- Pick the Workspaces the person should join and their role in each. You can also create a new workspace for them.
- Select Create invite.
Kuika AI emails the invitation. If your company has not set up email delivery yet, ask an administrator. Under Invitations you can see each invite as Waiting, Joined, Revoked or Expired. You can Resend or Revoke a waiting invite.
Automatic matching by email domain
An organization admin can add company email domains under Email domains. People who sign up with an address from one of those domains are matched to your organization automatically, and you can choose to include subdomains. Public mail domains such as Gmail cannot be added. If someone lands in an organization but no workspace yet, an admin gives them access to one.
Roles
Access works on three levels, and each level has its own roles.
| Level | Roles |
|---|---|
| Organization | Owner, Org admin, Member, Billing, Auditor, Guest |
| Workspace | Owner, Admin, Member, Viewer |
| App | Co-owner, Editor, Viewer |
You share a single app with Share and pick a role there. An Editor can edit and publish the app. A Viewer can only look. Roles inside the apps you build, for the people who sign in to them, are a separate topic: see Roles and permissions.
Working on the same app
Kuika AI supports teamwork without edit conflicts.
- Editor lock. Only one person edits an app at a time. Everyone else sees Editing: name with a Take over button, so the lock can be handed over when needed.
- Shared chat. Everyone on the app sees the same conversation with the AI, including who is typing at the moment.
- Presence. You can see who else has the app open.
- Comments on the preview. Select New comment, click anywhere in the preview and leave a note. Use Mention someone to pull a teammate in, and Resolve the thread when it is done.
Notifications
The Notifications bell shows invitations, access requests and the decisions on them. Select Mark all as read to clear it.
Build a team task tracker where managers can assign tasks and members can only see their own.
