Credits and usage

Kuika AI has no subscription. You pay with credits for the AI work and compute you use, and your organization shares one pool.

Kuika AI has no subscription. You pay with credits, and credits are spent when the AI works for you: building an app, editing it, or fixing errors. The credits belong to your organization, and every member spends from the same pool.

For prices and top-up options, open Kuika AI's billing page: Settings, then Billing.

What costs credits

  • Building an app and every chat edit.
  • Fixing errors with the AI.
  • Any other action where the AI does the work. Each run shows how long it took and how many credits it used.
  • AI features inside your own apps, such as a chatbot, when people use them. This comes from the same pool and is counted apart from building.
  • Running automated tests costs a small amount per test that actually runs.
  • Background builds on Kuika AI's servers while your tab is closed, if your workspace has them enabled.

What is free

  • The first message Kuika AI reads to decide whether you want to build or just ask.
  • The clarifying questions Kuika AI asks before it starts building.
  • Browsing your apps, reading your data, and running the preview in your browser.

Other chat replies use credits even when they write no code.

If you stop a run, you still pay for the AI work that had already started.

Credit pools and limits

The pool belongs to the organization. Nobody has a personal balance. An admin can still protect the pool with limits.

Open your organization's Credits section. It has three tabs:

  • Balance shows what was bought, what was spent and an estimate of how long the pool will last.
  • Limits sets a default limit for everyone, and exceptions for single members. A limit can be Unlimited, Monthly (resets each month) or Fixed (counts from the moment it is saved).
  • Analytics shows credits spent over time, by member, by app and by model, plus a list of every movement.

A limit is a ceiling, not a reserved amount. Whoever runs first uses the credits.

See your own usage

  • The credits badge in the sidebar shows the organization pool.
  • Settings, then Usage & activity, shows your personal limit, how much you used and when it resets.
  • Only people with billing permission see the breakdown by member and can add credits. Everyone else sees the pool balance and their own limit.

When credits run out

When the pool reaches zero, Kuika AI stops starting new work and shows Your organization is out of credits. Credits do not renew by themselves.

  • If you can manage billing, select Top up credits.
  • If you cannot, ask an organization admin to add credits.

If only your own limit is used up, you see You have reached your credit limit. The pool still has credits, and an admin can raise your limit. A run that is already going may finish slightly over.

Adding credits

On the Credits page, select Add credits to pay once by card. There is no subscription. If your company has not turned on card payments, the platform team adds credits for you. If a payment went through but the credits are missing, use Recover a missed payment.
