Mobile apps

A phone app from the same description.

Choose “Mobile app” before you start and Gate builds a real phone app with its own data, sign-in and roles. Preview it in a phone frame right away.

Kuika Gate builds mobile apps from a written description: choose Mobile on the start screen and Gate creates a React Native (Expo) app on the same kind of back end as its web apps, with a database, sign-in and roles. You preview it in a phone frame in your browser.

Pick Mobile, then describe

The start screen has a Web or Mobile choice. If your idea sounds like a phone app, Gate asks whether you want to switch.

  • Web or mobile, your choice
  • Same plan and approve step
  • Built with React Native (Expo)

A real back end behind it

Mobile apps get the same back end as web apps: their own database, sign-in, roles, file uploads, scheduled jobs and email.

  • ASP.NET Core back end with its own database
  • Sign-in with email and two-step verification
  • Roles and permissions you control

Preview it in a phone frame

The app runs in a phone frame in your browser while it builds. Click any element there to change it, or ask in the chat.

  • Live phone preview
  • Click to edit on the framed preview
  • Light and dark mode

Open it on your phone (beta)

Where your company has it turned on, scan a QR code to try the app on your own phone. This is in beta.

  • Scan a QR code to open it
  • Try it on a real device
  • Beta, if enabled for your company

Questions, answered.

Can I build a mobile app without coding?

Yes. Choose Mobile app on the Kuika Gate start screen and describe what you need. Gate builds a React Native (Expo) app with its own database, sign-in and roles, and you refine it by chatting or clicking.

Can I publish my app to the App Store or Google Play?

Not yet. Today you preview the mobile app in your browser and, in beta, on your phone with a QR code. You can download the full source code, including the mobile app, at any time.

Does the mobile app share data with a web app?

A mobile app gets the same kind of back end as a web app: its own database, sign-in and roles. Each app you build has its own data.

Can my mobile app send push notifications?

Not yet. Mobile apps can send email, for example reminders from a scheduled job, but push notifications are not available today.

Is everything from web apps available on mobile?

Most of it, including data, sign-in, roles, file uploads and AI features. Some things are web only for now, such as PDF reports, company sign-in (SSO) and the SEO check.
