Chat editing

To change an app, type what you want in the chat box and send it. Kuika AI changes only the part of the app that matters, checks that the app still works, and updates the preview. Every change is saved as a version.

Ask for a change

Describe one change in plain words. Kuika AI edits the screens, the database or the sign-in rules as needed.

Add a column for the due date to the tasks table and sort it by the nearest date

Tips for good edits:

• Ask for one change per message, so it is easy to see what happened.
• Name the screen or the element. "On the invoices page" is better than "on the page".
• You can keep typing while Kuika AI works. Your new message joins the running work.

Voice input

If your browser allows the microphone, use the microphone button in the chat box. Speak your request, then stop and Kuika AI turns it into text. Recordings can be up to 25 MB. You can read the text, fix it and send it like any other message.

Enhance prompt

Open the + menu in the chat box and choose Enhance prompt. Kuika AI rewrites your message into a clearer one. Choose Keep to use it, or Discard to go back to your own text. Enhance again tries once more.

Attachments

You can attach files to a message or to your first prompt. Use the paperclip button, drag files into the chat, paste a screenshot, or use Upload in the + menu.

• Each file can be up to 100 MB, and you can add up to 10 files to one message.
• Kuika AI reads the file. For a spreadsheet it keeps every sheet, so you can ask questions like "how many orders are overdue per region?"
• Attached files are reference material. If you want an image to appear in your app, such as a logo, say so in your message, and Kuika AI adds it to the app's files.
• An image on your very first prompt is used as a reference only. Attach it again in the chat if you want it inside the app.

Capture the preview

Choose Capture screenshot in the + menu to add a picture of your current preview to the message. This is handy for saying "move this button" or "this looks wrong". The preview has to be open and finished loading.

When something breaks

Sometimes a change leaves the app with an error. Kuika AI checks the app after each change and tries to repair problems by itself. You may see Found a build error, fixing it on the build screen, and the work continues without you.

If the preview still shows an error card, choose Let the AI fix it, or just tell Kuika AI in chat what you see.

Stop or undo

• Use the Stop button to stop what Kuika AI is doing. Your files are kept, and you can continue later.
• Use Undo on a finished change to revert it. This creates a new version, so nothing is lost.
• Open version history to go back further. See Version history.
