Kuika Gate documentation
Every feature explained in plain words, with the exact buttons to press.
Get started
- What is Kuika GateKuika Gate is an AI app builder. You describe the app you want, and Gate builds the screens, database, sign-in and roles, then runs it live in your browser.
- QuickstartBuild your first app with Gate in a few minutes. Sign in, describe the app, pick Web or Mobile, watch it appear, and make your first edit.
- Writing good promptsPractical tips for prompts that give you a better app on the first try, and for edits that land exactly where you want them.
- Plan modePlan mode lets Gate ask a few questions and write a plan first. You review it, change it in chat, and approve it before anything is built.
Build and edit
- Chat editingChange your app by chatting with Gate. Attach files, speak instead of typing, improve your message, and let Gate repair errors on its own.
- Click to editClick any element in your app's preview to change it. Edit text in place, adjust color, font, spacing and corners, or ask the AI to rewrite just that element.
- Design and themesChange how your app looks with 30 ready themes, live color, font and corner editing, or your own design system.
- Mobile appsBuild a mobile app with Gate by choosing Mobile on the home page, then preview it in a phone frame and edit it by clicking.
- Version historyEvery change to your app is saved as a version. Compare versions, bookmark the good ones, undo one change or restore an earlier version.
- Project knowledgeGive the AI standing instructions for an app, such as language, currency and always-or-never rules, and keep a log of decisions.
Data and automation
- Database and data panelEvery Gate app gets its own database. Browse and edit rows, run SQL, design tables, import CSV and keep backups from the Database view.
- External databasesConnect an existing Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL or Oracle database to your Gate app and use its tables next to the app's own data.
- PDF reportsAsk Gate for printable PDF reports such as invoices and summaries, then fine-tune the page layout, headers, charts and watermark in the Reports view.
- Scheduled jobsAsk Gate to run work on a schedule, such as a daily summary or a nightly cleanup, then check the run history and start a job on demand.
Users and access
- Sign-in and accountsApps built with Gate come with sign-up, sign-in, email verification, password reset and two-factor authentication, plus an admin panel to manage users.
- Roles and permissionsDecide who can see and do what in your app. Ask Gate for roles, adjust them in a role matrix, and test the app as each role before you share it.
Publish and share
- Test and productionPublish your app to a Test environment with its own database and a web address you can share, then learn what production adds in company setups.
- SharingShare a link so others can open your app, or add people by email with a role. Sharing is different from publishing to Test.
- Download your codeDownload the full source of your app as a ZIP, or send it to a GitHub repository automatically after every change.
- Security scanCheck your app for leaked keys, risky code and vulnerable packages before you publish, and let the AI fix what it finds.
Teams and billing
- Workspaces and invitationsSet up an organization and workspaces, invite your team, choose roles, and work together on the same app.
- Credits and usageGate has no subscription. You pay with credits for the AI work and compute you use, and your organization shares one pool.
- IntegrationsLet your app send email, add AI features like a chatbot, and connect to tools such as Microsoft 365.
