Users & access

Sign-in and roles, ready from day one.

Your app’s users get proper sign-in screens, and you decide what each role can see and do. No setup, no security homework.

Every app built with Kuika Gate comes with ready-made sign-in, including email verification, password reset and two-step verification, plus role-based permissions you control per table, screen and action. The server enforces the rules, not just the screens.

Sign-in, done properly

Sign-up, sign-in, email verification and password reset come with every app. Turn on two-step verification with an authenticator app for extra safety.

  • Email verification and password reset
  • Optional or required two-step verification
  • Sign in with an emailed code

Decide who sees what

Give each role the right to read, create, change, delete, approve or export each kind of data, and choose which screens it can open. Ask in the chat to add a new role.

  • Permissions per table, screen and action
  • Rename, copy or add roles
  • Rules enforced on the server

Test it as anyone

Preview the app as a specific role or as a signed-out visitor, so you see exactly what each person will see before you share it.

  • Preview as any role
  • Preview signed out
  • Catch access mistakes early

Manage your app’s users

See who signed up, assign roles to many users at once and export the list. An activity view shows who changed which account or role.

  • Bulk role assignment
  • Export users to CSV
  • Company sign-in (SSO) for web apps

Templates

Questions, answered.

Does Kuika Gate add login to my app automatically?

Yes. Every new app gets sign-up, sign-in, email verification, password reset and account security screens. Two-step verification with an authenticator app can be optional or required.

How do roles and permissions work?

You give each role rights per table (read, create, change, delete, approve, export), per screen and for custom actions. The server checks every request, so hiding a button is never the only protection.

Can users sign in with Google?

Not with a one-click Google button yet. App users sign in with email and password, or with a code sent by email. Companies can connect their own sign-in to web apps through OIDC, SAML or LDAP.

Can I limit sign-up to my company’s email domain?

Yes. You can restrict which email domains may register, set a password policy and choose how long users stay signed in.

Can I see the app the way a specific user sees it?

Yes. Use the preview to view the app as any role or as a signed-out visitor before you share it.
